The Wilds is an ongoing series of anomalous large scale photographs of various natural environments and landscapes that portray preternatural situations that are seldom noticed in day-to-day milieux. The conceptually constructed images are designed to capture moments in time in the same vein as "if a tree falls in a forest"—the assumed perception and perspective of the unobserved world where the viewer might feel privy to the scene. Ultimately, the photographs foster a myriad of both primeval and contemporary narratives, and evoke each viewer's willingness to search, see and believe.
