For the exhibition Wolves and Urchins, I have included images from two ongoing conceptually related projects: Of Augur and Auspice and The Wilds. These anomalous images are conceptual constructions of various portraits, places, landscapes, and vignettes found in the ordinary world that are seldom noticed in the daily experience. Although, an observer may feel familiarity with the imagery by means of comparable recounted traditions of myths, folklore and tales committed to collective memory.
